Why is my hair falling out after operation?

Question:
my hair is falling out since my op early this year and it looks like it is geting worse

Answers:
Yes, mine did too. After being ill, having an infection and two surgeries, my hair started to fall out. When I would get up in the morning, there would be hair all over my pillow case. My hair was very thin and dull looking. But, it grew back. After several months, I noticed that my hair was looking like it did pre-operation, and it had stopped falling out. Your hair will grow back, give it some time.
go see the doctor
Severe stress and illness can cause hair loss - but it's usually only temporary. Have you had a high fever? This can also cause loss. Perhaps it's hereditary, and merely a coincidence that it seemed to occur around the time of your surgery. Guess I'd have to recommend seeing a doctor for a couple of blood tests. Low thyroid, for one, can cause thin hair also anemia (but this is rather rare in men). Good luck.
so is mine its due to lupus.[sle]
Badly damaged hair breaks at the scalp. To treat hair loss apply a little lemon juice with some black tea. Massage well and shampoo.Rub oil into the scalp. Wring out a towel in hot water and wrap it on the head. Keep it on for 15 minutes. Shampoo and dry well. Check out http://usefulinfo-hairloss.blogspot.com/... for more info.
