I would like to know exactly where I could go to have my hearing checked inexpensively?

Question:
I have no health insurance and need to pay cash-Most MDs cost 150 just to get in the door and don't even test hearing. I think 50 bucks is a fair price as all I am doing is listening to a couple tones.

Answers:
Check for a local health clinic. Also, look into getting medicaid from your state's website (not to be confused with medicare, which is for people over 65.)
look in the newspaper for a health fair
Where I live, Walmart tests your hearing at no cost. Check this out
call your counties health dept.
