Why do you think that mosquitos don't like me very much?
Question:
If I do get bit, I get one or two and go a couple years without any.
What makes me different than everyone else?
Answers:
That a really good question, mosquitoes hunt for hosts by sensing carbon dioxide emissions from our bodies, lactic
acid, and heat around the victim.
oh,
maybe b/c u have a lot of vitamin B1 in you, there are now pills of vitamin b1 that ppl take are used as insect repellent... when you have a lot of B1 in your body it creates an odor that cannot be smelled by humans but by mosquitos which drives them away.
because u smell like ****
Who cares if it makes you different. Atleast you're not the one getting bit.
be greatful..lucky you! brat! :)
low blood sugar
you're lucky, and they aren't as attracted to the chemical scent you give off, seriously. consider yourself lucky. my husband never gets bit either.
Maybe you have thick skin.( L.O.L.) Just kidding!, I have heard they are attracted by breath and dark colors. You must be a shallow breather and wear light colors.
youre an alcoholic?
Don't worry about it mosquito bites hurt and are itchy be glad that they don't bite you!
maybe its the soap you use or some perfume you are wearing
who cares? you should just be glad...mosquito bites suck
they dont bite beautiful woman!!
It might be your diet. Scientific evidence has shown that mosquitoes are attracted to people who have recently eaten bananas. Maybe other foods repel them. There could also be tons of other factors, even the perfume or lotion you wear. Experiment if you really want to get bitten. That's the only way you'll find out. Happy summer! ;)
DON'T KILL THEM BREED THEM THEY WILL MAKE EGGS IN THE WATER THEN KILL THEM.
THEY DON'T LIKE U VERY MUCH COZ U KILL THEM.
They dont like u because some people give off a sent or oli from their skin that mosqiotos arnt atracted to.
because u have brown hair
I wouldn't worry too much about it, at least you don't have to itch and scratch and get irrataited. Do you spend alot of time outside? If you spend more time than your friends its probally because your really active or you just dont both them. If you don't go outside alot, thats a perfectly good reason why you dont get bit. Just be thankful that you don't have to look down at that huge lump with the red skin on it and have to itch and itch.
this is most likely because you have a very common blood type. People who get bitten by mosquitoes get bitten because to the insects, this is new blood. And when people stop getting bitten, its because the mosquitoes have gotten bored of that persons blood and have moved on looking for more new blood.
You are actually normal, people who get a lot of bites tend to have rare or unusual blood types.
In your situation, I would have to say that you have a blood type that is always encountered by the mosquitoes, and thus, they dont like your blood.
Hope this helps!
Interestingly enough, only female mosquitos bite. Scientific research has shown that if you are frequently bitten by mosquitoes, it is because of the smell you give off. Mosquitoes are attracted to the smells of certain people. If a person is rarely bitten, then his or her body gives off a smell that masks the scent that attracts mosquitoes. Check out this website:

It really isnt like that they just are there and your just a tasty meal to them try using some bug spray i know you dont want to use it but it might keep the bugs off,off works good and other sprays do good to.
Well, I am not sure how to answer this question properly as I am also one of the few that have NEVER been bit by a mosquito...(yes i know, weird)
but I may have a few facts...
Some people have told me that a lot of mosquitoes come after them more likely than normal when they perspire more (as in sweat). Maybe that may be a symptom to your "blessed dilemma (sp?)" Also I have read from a magazine before that mosquitoes are VERY attracted to the infamous colour Blue. Have you been avoiding the colour blue lately?
Or maybe all my talk has been slab-dash...dunno...but maybe it's just that you don't go to a lot of outdoor mosquito-infested areas (I certainly do not)
you sound like you are complaining! Off hand I would guess that you do not wear sweet smelling perfurmes/colognes/body sprays. That is what most attracts mosquitos.
Do you eat alot of garlic? I know they do not bite people who eat alot of garlic.
