John, I have heard people say this is the feeling they had right before a heart attack. Ya need to go see a doctor about this. Could just be gas in the upper GI and an alka Seltser takes care of that problem or a couple sips of a coke or other carbonated beverage . The cough could be sinusitusdraining down the back of your throat or a lung infection or maybe bronchitus or allergies
