so how it goes try and take something to calm your stomach and if it gets worse phone and either get someone to come a replace you or phone the parents up and tell them that you cant stay due to illness
go ahead and call the family and cancel. explain to them that you're sorry for cancelling so much lately, but your feeling really sick and you don't want to make their kids sick too. they'll be glad you cancelled because of your illness and they'll think your honest and kind because you were concerned about the kids getting sick. otherwise, if you don't cancel and end up getting the kids sick, and they find out you knew you were sick when you babysat, they'll be very angry at you. and they might not let you babysit again. so cancel - it'll most likely earn you some brownie points (:
just call in you will be happy you did...ya they might be upset but if your sick then forget about them!!
I read the other answers and agree. But one thing I wonder about. You said that ". . . because I have done it so many times!" I wonder, is it just these folks for whom you are sitting or others? Could it be anxiety about doing the job or just doing it for these folks?
i would addvice you to ring the family and cancel if you have a bug you could pass it on to the kids i am sure they will understand
