How do seniors with arthritis cope healthy people..back problems?


Question:
Arthritis comes and goes, as I have mine in the spine and its gets really painful and I'm almost immobile.at times. Family thinks I'm kidding or don't believe me when I cancel out on events. Is this the norm?

Answers:
I have the exact same problem. I cannot get out of bed in the morning without my meds. People don't realize how much pain your in. I would recommend seeing a neurologist, maybe they can prescribe you something. Please let me know if you discover anything. I have recently been put on Social Security Disability due to not being able to function with all this pain. I fought with them for five years to get my Social Security. Good Luck
