Smoking & immunesystem?

I quit smoking a few days ago. I know smoking affects the immune system in a negative way. Now I want to know, does your immunesystem repair after quitting or does it stay damaged?

yes frnd gud that u quitted smokin n yes smokin does affect ur immune system a lot coz while smokin most of our body cells in immune system r affected n sometimes destroyed which leds to ill health but now since u have left smokin so ur body's cells wud work against the damaged cells n throw them out n give rise to some new cells in ur body n definately improve ur immune system so gud luck
