A headach with a cold? how about plugged ears? is that normal?

water eyes, stuffed nose (only one side, but sometimes 2), scratchy throat, a little cough sometimes.its been about 2 or 3 days...and i think has gotten better...BUT
i have plugged ears and a headache in the back of myhead...like top of my neck...
is the plugged ears and headach common with a cold? its not constant either...the symptoms will die off and ill be fine for an hour or more and then bam, my ears get plugged and my nose starts running, and a headache slowly comes on.
is this just a cold?

You know what that doesn't sound like a cold it sounds like allergies, either you can talk to you doctor to get a prescription or just go out to Wal-mart or something and look for some kind of antihistamine blocker, some kinda of allergy medicine. I bet you will start to feel better in no time! I'm almost sure of it. I suffered from allergies most of my adult life good luck!
