We're low on cash but we need to find addiction treatment centers in Pennsauken, New Jersey. Any suggestions?

Question:
My dad left us and this really affected my mom. Since then, she has been drinking alcohol and gotten addicted to it. My siblings and I want to get her treated, but as my dad is no longer with us, we're really strapped for cash. Rehab costs a lot and we can't afford this. However, we can't just let our mother continue on being an alcoholic. Any suggestions on how we're going to get my mom treated?

Answers:
This must be really tough for you and your siblings. Do you have other older relatives that you can ask for help from? It might be better if you have a grown-up with you who would see to it that your mom gets treated. You can also apply for a grant from the government. If your mother has insurance, you might be able to use this as well. The second link below will give you a list of the addiction treatment centers in your area. Inquire and see if they will be willing to give you discounted rates or if they will allow you to pay off the bills at a later date. Good luck! I'll keep your family in my prayers.
Please call Alcoholics Annonymous, they have all the info you need. There are always recovery places that work on a
"Sliding Scale" which means they charge according to how much you make. Your mom NEEDS to WANT to get help though, that's the tough one, you can't just take her it won't last that way. She has to want the help. In the meantime ask AA about their groups for teens and family members. Good Luck and remember u can only give her the info and she has to decide. One tip though, try to talk to her about this when she's hung over, it sounds weird but it's more effective. If u want to talk more email me, I'd be glad to listen.you gotta take care of YOU too!
Alot of places will work with you on a sliding fee scale. If you qualify they will even work with you for free. I know how you feel I was married to an alcoholic. If your mom refuses help there is not much you can do although I would talk to her about it. Most people have to hit rock bottom before they will seek help. I suggest that you and your sibling start attending some alanon meeting to help you cope with this. PLEASE go to some alanon meetings. I pray that God will give you peace through this or at least give you strength to deal with it. God bless you and your family.
