Answers:
One of the first symptoms of diabetes is frequent urinating.

I would definitely check this out as diabetes can lead to some very serious health problems.
you might be drinking a lot or you could have an over active bladder, which they have pills for, but you have to go to the doctor for them.

best of luck
Abnormal is if you have to get up more than once in the middle of the night. Get tested for diabetes anyways though. There are several reasons for frequent urination such as an enlarged prostrate or problems with your kidneys. If you can sleep all night or just pee once, you probably are okay. Ask your doctor.
I have the same problem. When you find out let me know.
Research Diabetes symptoms and see if you have alot of them...Freequent urination is one...Do you crave sugary foods? Or hate them. Or both in the same day? Do you feel light headed or like your going to pass out?
The first thing we have to know is what do you mean by "a lot"? How much liquid do you drink? If you're drinking a lot, then you're going to pee a lot (assuming no other problems). If you have to pee once an hour or more when you're awake, that can be something to worry about. If you're peeing this often, you are probably becoming dehydrated - which leads to thirst & more drinking. Many soft drinks and tea contain caffeine or related substances that can greatly increase how often you need to pee.

There are three types of diabetes. "Diabetes" refers to a disease that causes an increase in urine production. Only two forms of diabetes are well known by the general public & all three forms are distinctly different diseases with different causes & treatments. The best known of the forms are grouped together as diabetes mellitus. There are two forms of diabetes mellitus: Type I (juvenile onset) and Type II (adult onset) diabetes. If you have either of these forms of diabetes, you may have noticed that you've lost weight over the last few months. You have also may have noticed that your energy levels are down. The first URL below is for a web page from the CDC listing the symptoms of diabetes mellitus & some of its causes.

The remaining form of diabetes is diabetes insipidus. This condition is much less common than the two forms listed above. It is caused by either a lack of the hormone antidiuretic hormone (ADH) or if the kidney doesn't respond to ADH. The second URL give some more info about diabetes insipidus.

This is not an exhaustive list of the conditions that can cause excessive urination.

It is impossible for us to diagnose you over the internet. If this condition continues for more than a few days, you should go see a doctor for a proper diagnosis. The fact that you've noticed that something is wrong indicates that you should definitely see your doctor.
