i have known this guy all my life (we are both 14 i know he needs real help but please just read it) he has always been with the skater/druggie people. we have always kinda been friends..but know everything has changed. two years ago he started smoking pot. i didnt really mind most of the guys did it wasnt all that bad he would only do it once a month at the most. but then he began using more and more until pot just wasnt enough. when pot stopped satisfying his drug craving he started to use harder and harder drugs, now he is high almost all of the time. he doesn't come from the richest of families its actually very dysfunctional. he has two brothers both older one hates his mother (his parents are divorced and hate/never help one another) and his middle aged brother that is 16 is a party guy that uses drugs as well but he has not hit rock bottom quite as hard as my friend. last year in the middle of second semester his father sent him to military school in a different state because

Unfortunately, there is nothing you can do. Anyone who is on drugs has to have the desire to quit within themselves and there is no amount of talk, reasoning or whatever to get anyone to do that.
My advice for you would be to not worry about your friend and to focus on your own life. You have a life of your own to live and it is best to move on without worrying about your friend. This does not mean that you do not care. It means that you realize that he has to help himself before he can be helped. People on drugs are very good con artists and you are still young and vulnerable to it. So, pray for your friend, because that's all you can do, and then move on with your own life...
