I just got over from like 30 chiggers and the best thing you can do for bug bites is clear finger nail polish and time. If you feel like you are getting ate up with bugs go and take a REALLY HOT BATH it will help.
i hear bed bugs are at an all time high
Do you have any pets? That could also be a factor Clean all your bedding and rugs around the house if they are inside. For the itch use Aveno anti itch cream. It really works. I had terrible sand flea bites and it helped me out.
are you sure its bites? it could be an allergy or you could have chiggers (i hate those things). i wouldn't recommend it but you could bug bomb your house (could contaminate your food) you should see a doctor or other medical official.
Looks like a case of bedbugs. The little critters sure know how to hide.Search them out from the bed corners where they like to hide and raise families.
It's just that time of year, maybe...I've been getting these spider bites every night when I sleep.
There are quite a few possibilities for bites on your ankles from creatures you do not see when it happens. The possibilities are based on climate - the kinds of biting creatures in your area are different from those in different climate zones.
Possibilities include fleas, ticks, chiggers, other kinds of mites, spiders, various kinds of biting flies (mosquitoes, black flies, sand flies, etc.), bed bugs, various other kinds of bugs, and ants. The creatures called "no see-ums", typical in the Great Lakes region during the summer, are biting flies so small that they fit through the holes in standard gauge window screens. However, no-see-um bites are found on the face, hands, and neck as well as any uncovered areas on the legs.
Numerous bites only on the ankles are most typical, in humans, of fleas. Do you have any dogs and cats that go in and out of your house? They can bring in fleas, who then jump off, rest in the rug and on upholstered furniture, jump on people at the ankle to feed, and jump off again. However, biting only a woman's ankles and not biting a man's is not like fleas, unless the boyfriend wears boots in your house all the time and never bares his ankles there. Some kinds of biting flies and small wasps are attracted by scent, so you may be wearing a perfume or cosmetic with a fragrance attractive to the biters, accounting for the bites being only on you and not the boyfriend. However, these insects do not confine themselves to biting ankles the way fleas mostly do.
I hope I have helped you - you did not provide much information to go on..
Hi, Yes I think you are being bitten by chiggers or red-bugs- if they're biting under your socks or the waistband of your pants or undies. Don;t forget to spray your yard as well and use something residual. Does your boyfriend eat a lot of garlic? It might help--Good Luck
