Canadian pharmacies?

I will be going to Canada for a few weeks, my regular must take prescriptions will run out while I am gone. Can I get them filled while there? What are the Customs issues , if any?

Canadian pharmaceuticals have to be prescribed by a Canadian Physician, so you might have to see one there to get a prescription filled. An American Physician isn't licensed to practice medicine in Canada, so a prescription from one isn't recognized in Canada. Not sure about the customs issues, but you need to find out before you leave.
Why not see if your doctor(s) will write you a that will cover a longer period of time or give you samples? Check with your insurance to see if they will pay if your doctor does this.
