If your kidneys are fine but the pee is "getting stuck", have you considered that this may be a form of paruresis? It sounds like you get stressed and anxious about this, which can often cause your bladder muscles to lock up; if this is the case, you may have to find some way to force your body to get all the pee out the first time. Some people swear by breath holding (the lack of oxygen forces their muscles to relax and release the pee), but not everyone can hold their breath long enough for it to work, so if you try it and it doesn't work, don't get discouraged. People use different tricks to get themselves to go, so you may have to experiment to find something that works for you. Unfortunately, most doctors don't believe this is real and won't treat you for it, but there are lots of online forums and groups where you can ask questions about it.
Why not drink more during the day instead?
that might help.
or just gradually cut down at night.
It's good that your drinking it though.
the only solution if to cut down on the water, even if it's a bottle and a half it's better than two full bottles. Try moving the time up a few hours so it's not right before bed.
that could be stressful, waking at night just to urinate, well then lessen your intake 2 bottles of water, because that causes you to wake up during at sleep... its advisable to drink enough water at day but at night it could be really bowel problem...
it's good that you can drink lots of water.maybe just cut it down during the night..
You can either stop drinking so much water at night or start wearing a diaper to bed. If you drink a lot of water before bed time you will have to get up to pee. There is no way around it.
Too much water at night is bad for you. You supose to have 32 oz in a day, but not after 7pm. It can cause migrane.
