How can I avoid clothing with a high amount of toxins in the fabric?

Question:
I am aware of the notion that clothing can carry serious amounts of various toxins, and believe to have heard someone say that black is especially prone to worrisome concentrations of this and that.

How can I lower the amount of clothing-borne toxins?

Answers:
Buy clothing that is only made from organic cotton or hemp and only wash it in natural products. Don't use commercial brand detergents and NEVER take anything to the dry cleaner-those are the worst toxins!
There is no official clothing screening that I know of. Most of the time when you wash your clothes throughly before wearing, it won't be a problem.
WASH IT IN WARM WATER before you wear it. & dont forget to bleach your whites. they also make special bleach for color clothes.
