Drinking water fast during dehydration will cause vomitting?

Question:
During rehydration, a person should drink slowly to prevent vomitting. Why?

Answers:
Here's the deal. Your body has nothing in it, period, when it's dehydrated. So, the organs have relaxed, so to speak. If you slam those organs with too much at once they are going to "overload" and somethings got to give, up comes the water. You have to "sip" to slowly work those organs back to their original state. In laymans term that's how your body works.

I'm not sure, but I think it might be because your body is lacking water, so if you suddenly drink too much, your body will reject it.
you just said why, to prevent vomiting, if you want to puke your guts out guzzle it stupid
