ok well first it will strip the layer in your stomach and your nose and smells will become stricened and restricted to extreamly strong smells. p.s it is very very easy to tell a maijuana smoker because their nostrels are up and small

i agree iv been smoken marijuana since i was 15. i heard that it can prevent altymerize disease it was in the weed magazine. i neva heard of car crashes or anybody going out and killing on a marijuana bender. i think they should legalize it. and yea people say it makes you dumber but i dont think that is im a nomral person i have a good job never been in trouble not like a bum on the side of the road or anything

we legalized it in Ontario(a canadian province) but the americans threw a hisyfit becuase they though their peepz were gunna com over the border and get high er sumn (the real reason is that their peepz would get jelous and want them to leagalize it) but anywho, right now its pretty much legal in canada as long as you dont smoke it near kids n whatnot. or if you have alot, and the know your dealin. But pot isn't as bad for you as alcohol. thousands of people die of alcohol related things, but only a few of pot related things (driving while high), and you cant die of pot overdose er anythin like alcohol, and alcohol is legal.
No No its bad, marijuana would lead people into worse drugs and people only smoke it cause they think its cool....... Yeah Right. There's no evidence that it even kills people and I've been smoking it since 15 and I never got involved in crack or acid and that other stuff and I never will.
Marijuana has, as its active ingredient, THC, which is very addicting and not to mention a very carcinogenic agent. It is even more cancerous than cigarettes. That is the reason why it is bad for you.
I live in a state with medical marijuana laws. It is good for me. Medically I can't walk. If I smoke frequently I am able to focus what is left of my sense of balance and walk and dance and play. I can calm my constant nausea so I can eat and enjoy a normal social life. I can rise above the ever present dizziness to carry on a conversation. I can live a normal life.
I was like you in that I did not use alcohol as a student and smoked my way to a 3.82 grade point through nine years of university. I was a terrible student before I discovered marijuana.
I now teach and I have witnessed students getting stupid from using marijuana. It is obvious those students shouldn't use it. Such students often know. Students who get stupid from marijuana use are a minority.
I do see alcohol as VERY much more dangerous. EVERYONE who is drunk is stupid.
It was drunks who made the marijuana laws. You and I know how stupid those laws are.
Just one way of looking at it:
Is a person in jail for a marijuana offense more productive than a marijuana user who lives a normal life?
America has a very high rate of general incarceration; one in thirty two. About half are incarcerated for drug crimes. Most of the drug crimes are marijuana related. If we were running this country as a business we could not afford to treat marijuana users so badly. We would be bankrupt already just from productivity refused and incarcerated. To keep people in jail we have to take more people out of productive activity. Jailers are unproductive. They have no product at the end of their shift.
An additional unintended negative consequence of putting marijuana users in jail is that they are trained in criminal ways of thinking and acting by the professional criminals legitimately in jail. They are trained in lose/lose.
So the anti-marijuana bigots empower themselves to take marijuana users out of production and train them to be criminals.
Do we need any more evidence that drinking makes people stupid?
It is clear that decisions about which drugs to use are personal and inappropriate as subjects for intrusion by government.
