IBS can be treated. You have to be diagnosed by a doctor. You might want to try taking Lactaid. I was having similar problems and the Lactaid works for me.
had the same problem, DR prescribed Prevacid, awesome!
once you get it it's there to stay =you will learn which foods to avoid through trial =you can also buy beano and other gas reducing pills as well
You could be allergic or sensitive to foods, or to food combinations. Have you tried to take out common food allergens like dairy, wheat, peanuts, eggs and/or soy?
You could be eating too much fiber.
I can't drink coffee with apples, and I have other foods that don't "go well" together for me. You could have that.
You might need MORE fiber.
You might have too much yeast in your body. Have you taken a lot of antibiotics?
There are things that help, but it's best to find out what is causing the problem in order to really fix the problem. Why not just ask your doc?
IBS is linked to psychological problems like anxiety. I would say to ask your doctor if you could have something light to control the anxieties you suffer with, like xanax. If you control the anxieties your ibs will dissipate
my mother-in-law takes this stuff called "bean-o" for gas. that might help...
If you don't want to see a doctor, begin with your diet. Eat only "soft" foods. These include broth, soda crackers, soft or hard boiled eggs, plain bread (no butter or jam). Use no salt or pepper, or other seasonings. Some people can also eat cheese, or yogurt as "soft" foods, but you don't know you body well enough to say. Eat only soft foods and water (no tea, coffee, or regular/diet soda, or alcohol) for two weeks. When the bloating and gas cease, begin adding one food at a time every three days until you determine which food is causing the problem.
"It's not fair"---whoever taught you that life was fair, lied.
Change you frustration into determination to find a solution, instead of giving up. See different doctors, read professional literature, speak to holistic therapists, try everything and anything until you find an answer that works for you.
Go see your doctor if you have one if not go get some gaviscon advance if that dote dissolve it then you rely need go see a quack – like they say if you dote get it checked out your never know…? Yet in saying that it also depends on what your eating habits are to an extent – some foods and beverages can have that affect on you – go look it up on the net.
