Yes webmd is a great place to start then look at the various illnesses that you know some about. Try to understand the difference in what types of anibiotocts work on what types of bacteria you know gram stain, gram positive or negative. The from there branch out. Look at illnesses like crone's disease, and GERD, and COPD, what are the common treatments, what meds are used, why are they used? Also when you get older like 18 you should get a job at a hospital transporting patients or anything. It will look good on your med school application. Also get involved in some volunteer work with you church or a community group, that always looks good. You might want to look at some of the pharmaceutical company's web sites, they will list different medicines they make and what they are used for then you can go and research the illnesses. You can use wikipedia as a place to start (I love that site, but you've got to make sure it's sourced to KNOW it's accurate)
Just running searches on things in wikipedia is good. You can usually find lots more information.
Although I don't use it I hear webmd.com is a good place to learn about stuff, too.
