Looking for advice about breast augmentation??

Question:
I'm 23 years old and have been thinking about getting implants for a long time. I'm 95% sure at this point that I will get it done but I'm interested to find out what other's people's experiences have been. What i'm most worried about is the pain and recovery time...How bad is the pain, what do you do for it, how long until i can be back at work (desk job)? I'm also curious how much a GOOD boob job should cost. I'm just looking for pros and cons from other people who've had this done; any advice is greatly appreciated. Oh and please no lectures. My self-esteem is fine and I'm not expecting it to change my life or anything like that (I wouldn't want it to, I love my life as it is!) I just want to be "normal" (seriously, they are barely As!). Thanks so much!

Answers:
my best friend just got her breasts done a months days ago, and she looks amazing already! I have natural C cups(sorry to burst your bubble!) , so i've never had plastic surgery but i have seen a lot of people get it.
A good augmentation would cost no more then 10,000$(if it costs more, your overpaying and you shouldn't trust the surgeon) but no less the 4,000$(if it costs less then the surgeon probably isn't very good) anywhere in between is normal though.
The pain is tolerable is what my friend said, but i watched her for the days after her surgery to keep an eye on her, and she took vicodin for the pain, and used icepacks for the swelling and pain.
At first they look huge, but don't be alarmed because they drop and grow together amazingly, its like puberty at high-speed!
You should be back to your job in less then a week, or as little as 3 days.
The only con i can think of is that you can't work out for 2 weeks minimum because the new bloodclots could rupture and need another surgery.
It really depends, but most of the time they're great. I've seen noone who wasn't pleased with there augmented breasts-but on tv you occasionaly see those people that freak out and say the implants ruined ther life-thats a lie-those people had previous illness and they don't talk about it.

you should have no worries, and good luck with the procedure!
It's the best decision I ever made! If I had to do it all over again, I would!
There is pain, but it is tolerable. You just have to make sure you give your body the time it needs to recover and don't over do it. The day AFTER surgery is the worst, just be prepared for that. I got my surgery about a year and a half ago when I was 22. Like you, I was barely an A! I got 300ccs filled to 350ccs in each implant, and that took me to a full C cup. After my surgery, my chest was really high and tight. It felt soooo good to let the warm water from the shower fall on my chest. With a desk job, you could be back to work in as little as 4 days. Boob job costs will vary. My surgeon does more breast augmentations per year than any other doctor, because he is so good AND relatively in expensive. I paid $4500. But the *average* can be around $7000.
My confidence is SO MUCH BETTER now and I feel like a million bucks on the beach!! I love my fake boobies! The best part of it is, they look natural, people don't believe me that they are fake when I first tell them.
Let me know if I can offer more advice! GOOD LUCK :)
I can tell you -from personal experience . . .if i had it to do again, i would! I love my implants. I have 475cc silicone cohesive gel implants. I will tell you - they look amazing, but they come at a price - my back kills me just doing normal housework. Sometimes you have to take a break in the middle of things just to relax your back. Mine weigh about 10 lbs! I paid about $7500 for them. They look 100% real. People cant even tell. I was back to work in 2 days. I have an office job. The pain was only bad the day of the surgery. I had it done at 10am, and didnt start hurting till about 6pm - the pain meds worked wonders! Just make sure you have a comfy bed where you can stretch your arms out to your sides and relax!
