Dont use them unless you have like a week off because most sleeping pills, I dont know the reason, but do the opposite untill your body adjusts to them even prescription ones, so that will kill your sleep completely,
Just drink some water. get comfortable, turn the tv onto a channel thats not too bright, very low volume like 3-5, and stop reading my long and pointless answer, and just keep repeating the name of whatever you believe in allah, jesus, buddha sponge bob, this one always works for me .

You could try chamomile tea, warm milk, reading until your eyes feel heavy, listening to soothing music, etc... Honestly, you will need to get to the root of the problem though. Something is bothering you and keeping you from sleeping, so it's best to figure out what that is and how you resolve the problem. If you are unsure, it could be something that you are concerned about subconsciously. Also, you may want to cut back on your caffeine intake.
