I need help with this problem,?

Question:
I have a problem, that is starting to get on my nerves.

The problem is that I hate closing the doors in my house because it makes me feel trapped and I get all hot a start to pant (even though I have the A/C on in my house and it is perfectly cool.

I don't know what started this off but its been going on for the last few months. I have been to the doctor who said there really wasn't anything he could do for me and I don't think he believed me when I was telling him how I feel when the door is closed

I feel trapped, I get irritable, hot and I start panting and it is really driving me crazy because it makes me feel silly and stupid and its quite debilitating. Yesterday I had to get out the elevator because I felt sick and I am sure the people that was in there thought I was a lunatic because I was dizzy and couldn't stand still.

I don't know what's wrong with me, it only started a few months ago and I cant think why

So i really would like some advice on well what is wrong with me and how can I stop it. My doctor didn't seem to believe me at all, he did some test things and said there was nothing wrong with me. It doesn't happen all the time.

It sounds like you have developed a fear of enclosed spaces. Seek a counsellor and find out different therapy options. This is treatable.
get a bowl of water this should help with the panting walk around on all 4's
I really feel for you. This sounds like claustrophobia, although I'm not an expert. I would go to the doctor again. You're not crazy and there is help out there for you.
I hope this can be resolved very soon. All the best. God bless.
This sounds like you suffer from claustaphobia and the symptoms you describe are a panic attack. You must go to see another doctor and hopefully they will take your problem seriously, as phobias can be debilitating. There are treatments for phobias, and your condition needs to be taken seriously and treated. Hope you get better :)
Claustrophobia is an anxiety disorder that involves the fear of enclosed or confined spaces. Claustrophobes may suffer from panic attacks, or fear of having a panic attack, in situations such as being in elevators, trains, boxes or aircrafts.
That sounds like claustrophobia to me. If your doctor will not help you find a counsellor and maybe seek alternative therapies as there has to be someone who can help! Make sure you get the help as a matter of urgency before the condition gets worse.
Sounds like you've developed a fear of enclosed spaces which is causing anxiety/panic attacks. This can be treated very easily with some cognitive behaviour therapy.Go and see another doctor who understands this kind of problem & ask for some treatment to be sorted out for you.
Sounds like claustrophobia you need to see a therapist if your GP won t help go to one that will before it gets any worse
These symptoms seem typical stress anxiety responses and maybe you should get another alternative medical opinion.

Overall I suggest that you get some professional advice from a therapist and avoid medication if possible.
Sounds like classic claustrophobia and anxiety. Instead of talking to a physician, call a psycholosist and see what the can do to prescribe something for you.
This happened to my good lady some years ago. Luckily we had a very good ,understanding GP who immediately reffered her to a counsellor.
There were other things going on at the time which contributed to her feelings.
Within a matter of weeks, after a few appointments she started to recover and went on to start her own business.
There is light at the end of the tunnel. Get back to your GP and make him listen.
The very best of luck to you.
I feel for you. I hate that when Dr.'s make you feel stupid or don't understand what you're talking about. Go to a therapist, like the others mentioned. Find out what's causing your claustaphobia (spelling wrong). Maybe some medication can help in the meantime. Good Luck!
id say u have a phobia.
if i were u id get hypnotherepy or counselling.
sounds like u have a fear of enclosed spaces, it can be triggerd by getting trapped or thinkin u will get trapped in a enclosed space, maybe the fear is thinkin u wont be able to get out, im not to sure if u can do anything but u could try being hypnotised that might work. dont think the doc can do anything but he might be able to controll it with anxiaty pills if it really is bad. hope this might help xx
