If you were going deaf, how would you act and feel?

Question:
How would you feel if you were going deaf? How would you want people to treat you? Would you want lots of help, or would you shy away?

Answers:
Of course, I would feel sad.to think of not hearing the birds singing, a child laughing, bacon sizzling, the waves crashing, a symphony, dogs barking, and especially the voices of those of I love. I'm sure anyone going deaf would have a struggle in accepting it. I would immediately explore cochlear implants, learn sign language, and explore any way I could still remain connected.
I have a moderate to severe hearing loss and I know that if I learn sign language and interact with both deaf and hard of hearing people it will not affect me.
