...constantly itchy neck and it's getting sore from scratching. Is this prickly heat or is it possible it could be a fungus infection caused by the dampness? I am now wearing my hair off my neck and applying baby talc to help keep it dry and cooler, but the "damage" seems to have been done. I've had this for some weeks now, off and on.

Answers:
try an anti Itch cream
id go and see your doctor as it could be a fungal infection.
you are doing the right thing by keeping your hair off your neck now but i wouldn't recomend putting talc on it. i'd just leave it to air dry.
God luck and hope its better soon x
Use all natural soap, shower with cool water, not hot. Wear your hair off the neck. Sounds like a heat rash or an allergy, follow the above instructions and you should feel better. Also, use a natural soap to wash your clothes.
