Has anyone had bad side effects after taking prednisone through an IV?
Answers:
When you take it IV you aren't taking if for the same length of time as if you were taking by mouth, and that's why you don't see such a difference in your face. If you took the prednisone IV long enough, you would also see it in your face.
If you have enough of it , yes.
Prednisone taking in any form has it's side effects. Prednisone is a steroid, which sometimes makes you swell up. My face was swollen when I took prednisone pills.
yes, i had horrible side effects, everyone is different and will have different things happen. mine was weight gain. word of caution. be sure u TAPER off predisone very slowly. there are serious side effects if you don't
