A hairy question...some advice please?

Question:
i think i have way more pubic hair than most girls my age, but i don't really know what the "normal" amount is. i don't want to shave or wax...i know i can do that. i just want to know if i have way more hair growing down there than most other girls. i am an 18 year old female by the way, so please respond only if you are a female!

Answers:
Hi, there is no 'normal amount', but I think most people see it as a problem when it grows down their thighs, and they have fuzz that can't be covered by a bikini. Some of my friends have that. And another of my friends has a slight line of pubic hair that runs up to her belly button. To be honest I would advise against shaving, as it gets really itchy, adn it feels horrible when you walk. I have never waxed, but I would see it as a step too far. Most of the women you will have seen on telly or in porn videos will have been highly waxed. Most of us just leave it as it is, unless you want to trim it a little to make it less long.
girl i had the same problem when i was your age now I'm 23 and me and my husband found a way. If you feel self-conscience about it then trim it, that's if you don't want to shave or wax. for me i hate the feeling when it's going out after being shaved, and don't ever ask about waxing.. way too painful. just grab some scissors it give yourself a new duo.
There really isn't a "normal" amount. People are different in all areas, including this one. What are you comparing yourself to? Hopefully it isn't pornography, because that isn't really that accurate. If you are uncomfortable either physically or emotionally with your hair situation, then that is a different story. True, you can shave, wax, use nair, whatever. You can even trim with scissors (if you're careful), but you should do whatever makes you feel good.
