I've recently had my ears syringed why do i still hear ringing?

i've recently had my ears syringed and i think i have mild tinnitus which my blocked ear made me notice it. i think the impacted earwax amplified the mild tinnitus. they say it might take days even weeks before my mild tinnitus goes back to normal which btw does not bother me because its really weak. what im basically saying is how long did it take you before it goes back to normal? please answer seriously. 1st hand experience would help

I shock everything i touch why is this ?

Answer:
As far as I know tinnitus can come and go (I'm a po-et and I don know-it) so you have to learn to live with it.

Sounds ultra-corny but a way to not be bothered by it is "make it your friend" - no that's mega-ultra-corny but get the jist. Used to be bothered by business and car alarms that go off at night (for aaaaaages) but learned to put them in the background and not let the noise upset me. Maybe the same can go for tinnitus.

Not sure if that's what I had 10 years ago or if the voices just haven't started yet, but I used to get a pulsing sound like a bass guitar and actually roared up at the ceiling to the apartment above a couple of times thinking the guys upstairs were blasting it. Had to learn to live with it (my only friend by that stage) and eventually it left.

Tinnitus does not always go away. Often times you have it for the rest of your life. Give it time and if it doesn't get better see your ENT doc to get it checked and to have an audiologist test your hearing.

Hi there Quasimodo!

You may need them doing again. My sisters took almost six weeks to recover, but she has no problems now. Hopefully there is light at the end of the tunnel!

My GP thought i had to much wax in my ears so i had them syringed .But it made no difference to the ringing i have in my ears .I was sent to an ENT specialist But he said its something i will have to live with .But mine Tinnitus seems to be getting worse .
