Still growing taller and I'm almost 21?

Question:
Hey guys...I just have a quick question to propose to you guys. I was a late bloomer and had my growth spurt when I was in 10th grade (16) and grew from 5"2 to 5"10 in 2 years at 18. I was 5"10 (maybe only grew 1/2 inch) for 2 whole years. Around my 20th birthdy I started getting the same growth pains I had when I was younger and it's been almost a full year of that and I'm just under 6 ft now but I still feel as if I'm getting taller. Of course I love this, however, I'm wondering if I'm having any serious health implications. The taller the better for me, but I am starting to get worried it may be a pituitary gland problem perhaps because my parents were done growing early and I started again after 2 years of almost no growth. I'm also getting some acne, which I had none of during my initial growth spurt from 16-18. Do you think I should go to a doctors and be concerned about this? Did any of you guys suddenly grow when you were 20+?

Answers:
I didn't not have this problem (sadly), yet I hope I can help:
1) The acne is not directly associated with your growth - acne is a sign of excess of androgens, and growth in your age is due to estrogens. It can be that your pituitary gland is coming to life, but it doesn't look uncanny to me, since the rise is not specific to one hormone.
2) According to growth statistics, it's not unusual for a person to continue growing in his early 20s.
3) The most important thing is not to rely entirely on answers given to you here (by people who have never seen you or known you) - go to the endocrinologist in order get the best answer.
I think it is not a problem if you get taller at 21. Most people are done getting taller before 21, however, there might be some exceptions. So do not get too much concerned. For me too, the taller the man, the better. So good luck, dear.
I think I grew until I was maybe 18 or 19, but still growing at 21 sounds a little unusual. Like you said there is a possibility of it being your pituitary gland, in which case the sooner you know, the better. If it were me I would ask my doctor about it, just for peace of mind.
Some men do continue growing taller and in shoe size untill there early 20's, it is quite common, including for me. At 16, I was 6'1 and 156 lbs. At 20 I was 6'1 and 180lbs, size 9 shoe. At 25, I grown to 6'2, 190lbs and size 11 shoe. The growth spurt usually ends by age 23 for most men.
Males usually stop growing at 18 but sometimes growth continues beyond 18 up to 21 which is uncommon and rare and in some isolated almost unheard of cases growth continues up to 25.

A pituitary gland problem is unlikely. If there was such a problem you would have been much taller than you are now at a much younger age. Most guys would envy you because most males do not reach 6 ft. You should be thankful that you have reached 6 ft.
