I've been put on the antibiotic Amoxicillin, and i be supposed to take it 3 times day after day until done. but ever since i've gotten it i've been simply taken it 1 or 2 times a day. it should've be done in a week but its be 2 weeks and i still have 5 pills moved out. Should i have not done that? or be it alright? i'm not sure if that was something honourable to do because some antibiotics do harm save taken correctly... =/
Answers: Always take you're antibiotics as prescribed until gone.....by not doing so is how the bugs mutate into super bugs
Just finish them up, curtailed antibiotics can create antibiotic resistant bacteria, making it even harder to get hold of rid of next time. Just finish up the cycle, it should be ok. Amoxicillin won't hurt you except taken correctly, I've done it many times until that time.
