Falling Dreams..?!?!?!?

Question:
A few years ago my cousin told me about his dreams where he is falling, and hit the ground and he wakes up. It has been several years and now im getting them. I've had them for the PAST 2 WEEKS!! Only, i don't hit the ground. There is no ground. im just fallin nowhere. When i wake up i can't calm myself down. Last night i jumped so much i hit and cracked my hand on the wall. lol my sis was laughing at me.

Anyway, did i get these from my cousin? Is there a way i can get rid of them? I'm not very stressed about anything. What causes them?

Answers:
i have this thing where sometimes my mind will wake up, and my body is still asleep. and i cant move my body at all. its very agrevating. i asked the doctor and he said it was caused by stress, which i dont believe because it doesnt happen when im stressed out. however i noticed that if i go to bed thirsty it happens. i think it could be caused by dehidration. well. not that this answers ur question but the point is u shuld ask a doctor.
i get them too...and a lot of people i know do too. I dont really think there is anything you can do.
it indicates you feel yourself out of control of a situation you are in.
i doubt you could have got them from your cousin cuz they aren't contagious lol. But dreams are caused from different events that happen to you duringthe day and they are all put together which is why they really dont make any sense . but i dont think there is an actual cure for dreams lol but i think if they keep happening it won't freak you out anymore.
