Question:
Answers:
defenitly! Most people I know that wear glasses alternate between glasses and contacts. I would if I had time to go to the eye doctor to get contacts prescribed to me.
Yes you can. Go to your eyeglass store, speak to the contact lens specialist (will probably be different than your regular optometrist). They will give you a free sample to try out.
yes, thats what I do, but you need to make sure that since you wont be wearing your contact regularly, that you dont have to renew them so often that way you dont have to worry about them not lasting
Yes you can!
If you have a special occasion coming up and don't already have contact lenses, get them as soon as you can.
When you first start to wear contacts, you have to get used to them and wear them for short periods of time and gradually leave them in longer. Your eye doctor will recommend a schedule for you.
Getting them way before the special occasion will allow your eyes to adjust to the lenses so you won't have to take them our before the end of the special event.
Just to be on the safe side, bring your glasses and lens case to the special event with you in case they start to bother your eyes and you have to take them out.
Good luck! I've been wearing soft contacts for about 25 years and I adjusted to them easily.
Sure!
Get Day Disposable Contacts or hard contacts.
But make sure you get them in a really nice, decent place- get your eyes checked and I reckon it would be safer to wear them a few hours for a few days so your eyes adjust to them.
