Don't scare people with this kind of stuff. Blood and any other bodily fluids are considered contaminated waste and is properly disposed of. The reason an autopsy is performed is to understand what the person died of. If it was from a contagious disease do you think they would allow this in drinking water. Get real.

Actually I work in the kitchen at a hospital and we are located directly next to the morgue. It just drains right out into those nifty little cups and we whisk them off to the patients room. Mmm mmm, Cranberry.
This is completely correct, any blood just goes right down the drain as does any other waste. The same thing happens with embalming, we just dump everything down the drain and it is treated at the water treatment plant.
