What is a healthy age range to be sexually active?

Answers:
Well, a looooong time ago, people only lived until their 40s and 50s (and I mean a REALLY long time ago). Just a few generations ago, people were still marrying and having children as teens. In many books based on historical events, 17 year old girls are wives and mothers. This was considered natural. Teenagers are actually more fertile than older adults. This might be because way back when, we didn't live so long, and it was normal for teenagers to be parents. Now, with the trend of people waiting until their 30s or even later to have children, it makes young parents seem... uncommon. The truth is, it is not unhealthy to participate in sexual activity, it just may be risky and you should not do anything you are unsure of. As far as health is concerned, it is healthy to engage in sexual activity from the time one hits puberty. Unless you have a heart condition or are directed by your doctor to abstain from sexual activity... you should be fine. Even old people can have sex as long as they are healthy enough.
My point is this... marriage and "waiting" to have sex has NOTHING to do with health. It is technically just fine to have a child at 18 years old. A woman's body is able to bear children at an age like this. Contrary to what society tells you, you do not have to be in your late 20s or early 30s to be healthy enough to have a child. The truth is, a woman's body is ready to bear children at a younger age, though it might not be the best thing to do.
Several generations ago, women had children very young. In countries such as India, marriages were arranged at young ages. The Amish people... hell... they're ALWAYS pregnant! It's just a matter of society and personal beliefs... but as far as science goes, sex is a perfectly natural and healthy part of life.
The best anwser it after you get married.
I know many 13-14 year olds who...
It's natural because cow meat is being injected with hormones. girls grow boobs faster and guys are more horny than the 1990s.
honestly, I'd say around 18 years old. By that point, you are fuly aware and are mature enough to make better choices than if you were younger. I'd wait until you were married, but otherwise, just protect yourself; not just against pregnancy, but STD's.
The answer is 27 or 28. Not 18 because you will still be trying to get settled with your new life as an adult.
It's a good idea to wait as long as possible... Make sure you have a connection with somebody, then it will mean so much more.
You have only one opportunity to experience this first intimate experience, so make it count! Wait until you are at least a young adult, and until you absolutely connect in a loving way with somebody. You won't be sorry for waiting!
no younger than 18
the sex drive starts around the time your start changing.
boobs. periods. men get more muscular..

in all honesty this was considered adulthood over a hundred years ago. teens were married and started having kids..
they also lived only until they were in their 40's
