Does anybody know what is G6PD test?

Question:
This test one of tests that is required for my govermental job and this is only one I don't know what is it.

Answers:
G6PD activity testing is primarily performed on patients who have had symptoms of anemia (such as fatigue, pallor, a rapid heart rate) and/or jaundice. Genetic G6PD testing may sometimes be done within a family to help identify the relevant mutation in female carriers (such as the mother of an affected son or daughter of an affected father) when one or more male family member has a G6PD deficiency. I find it odd that this would be required for a government job.
it s a test that is for glucose 6 phosphate dehydrogenase.Used to find unexplained anemia, when theres a def it causes your red blood cells to be destroyed
