Could I really sell an organ?

Question:
I'm seriously considering it. Is it possible though?

Answers:
it's possible but it's illegal to sell it. you can only donate an organ. you can donate one now or you can arange that when you die they will take some. People obviously sell organs under the table but you'd go to jail for a long time and no respectable surgeon will operate on you. the consequences of doing it illegaly can be jail or death if you have it done by a street surgeon.
Yes , it is very possible
probably because i've sold a piano
bleh a grand piano is better
Yeah, you can put it on Craigslist and get some decent money for it.

Id sell an appendix first, then a kidney.
Considering it to see your organ.?Wow you need help. Its illegal in some states.
yeah for like barely no money
Better donate it to the church, so they can play it on weddings?
Of course it's possible. It would be easier in a country outside of the US or the EU. But you could do it. I wouldn't recommend it though. You may need it down the road. And if you don't have it, you will almost certainly die.
Only in India, Its Illegal here. But You can sell one of your kidneys for about 10 k in India.
yeah but its dangerous, too dangerous and illegal
In the US it is illegal to sell whole blood and body parts, including organs.
legally ....not sure?
Ya you can
wow...you have some heavy issues to address!!
yes you can
It may be possible, but in many countries, its illegal.
. An organ, like a musical instrument? Or a body part?
lol, and how would you get the organ outside of you?
Yep, you just have to find somone sick that needs it. Try going to your local hospital and asking a nurse or doctor about this topic. I'm not a doctor myself, but i'm sure people would pay big bucks for one. If you donate it to the hospital they usually only consider it charity, so they don't pay you. Find a private client that is need of one for somone in their family or themselves. Maybe you can try putting out an add in the newspaper. After you get all the facts from the doctor on how the surgery is done ask the doctor to opperate for you and transfer the lung to the other person. I'm not completely sure if it works that way, but you can give it a try.
get real. how do you put a price on saving some ones life? if your serious try the black market in asia or mexico. remember what comes around gos around.
its not legal a guy tried to sell his kidney on www.jtbids.com but it was removed
Your idea is good . you can give life/ sight. you CANNOT SELL but can DONATE. blood, eyes etc. PL. contact a hospital & register your name & address..
It is possible obviously becuase people sell organs all the time, its called the black market. You will need to find a surgeon though who will not only will be willing to remove that organ but that surgeon will definitely want a profit on it. So its NOT recommened though I can see why people will buy it, waiting lists are ridiculous, you will die before you get a kidney. So it is possible but obviously if you get caught it will be a federal crime, and good luck finding a surgeon who will do it.
Yes.

We are in an era in which anyone can make money if they just think hard enough.

The price for a kidney ranges from $1000-$10000 depending on the location.

If your a kind person that is willing to give their heart out to other people, then you maybe $860000 richer. But dead.
That's pretty desperate. Suppose you'll need it to save the life of your kid someday?
No.But U can donate to someone who need it.No money will be involved.
