Does anyone know if 600mg of Vitamin B+C and 1000mg of B12 and 100mg of B6 is okay taken daily?

Question:
I am over 50 and in good health but have been treated for depression in the past. My doctor had suggested the 'stress caplets' and I heard that the B12 was good for energy while the B6 helped with moods or nerves. Thanks for reading and answering if you can.

Answers:
Probably best to take a B complex. Look for B50. You can take up to 2000mg vitamin C safely per day as long as you don't have kidney problems.

I wouldn't take isolated B vitamins, just go for a B50.
In my opinion and because I have some depression in the pass and maybe some time like every single human, First you need to see what is the reason or which one is the reason why you got stress, My husband was my reason,, after that you will feel better and maybe you are not the one who need any medicine,, but vitamin are always good for your help! Sorry for my english!
Yes, it's OK because the body only takes what it needs and throws the rest out.
As far as taking the B vitamins for depression, go to:

At 58, I believe in vitamins and other natural ways to deal with health issues whenever possible.
