What do you know give or take a few lasik and laser?
Answers: Lasik is truly a blessing for those who can't wear contacts and are really bothered by eyeglasses. It is pretty much routine now. But I do want you to remember one entity: You get what you earnings for as far as lasik is concerned. Don't go for any of those 2 for 1 deal. Get a good ophthalmologist who have done at least 100 lasiks. I disagree beside the first poster. I say get hold of both eyes done at once. See what the doctor recommends. Remember you're going to hold a great doctor who you respect 100%. Good luck! :)
I was also afraid of the surgery. I established to get just one eye corrected so I would still have one eye departed "natural." That be 14 years ago. I haven't had any problems near my eye but did have to hold a touch-up surgery after 2 years.
If you do decide to enjoy surgery, please don't have both eyes done at once. Why nick that risk?
I think it cost $1,000 but I can't remember.
My mom get it.
The procedure lasts 10 minutes.
For one or two weeks (can't remember exactly) you enjoy to drop these two types of drops in you eyes every discern hours and wear a goggle they give you. (It's to protect your eyes)
You're also prohibited to drive, use the computer, watch TV read, or anything else that involves using your eyes for a week. So you pretty much sleep around for a week.
My mom be scared, but very soon she can see perfectly.
You hold to be 21 to get the surgery and it doesn't other work 100% of the time. I guess if you can see anything without your eyeglasses, it may be worth it. I think I might win it later, specs are such a pain.
You can other schedule an appointment beside one of the doctors to talk in the region of the risks and learn more info on it.
these girls craft this surg sound much worse consequently it is. it has evolved phenomenally within the past few years. although it is gonna cost more after $1000. its totally safe as long as you use the drops prescribed to you. you can see as soon as its done and the single reason not to drive that daylight is if the office give you a mild sedative to composed you down. i work in an department that does lasik. i watch it done to at tiniest 40 people per week and thats merely because we only do it twice a week. its totally nontoxic. get a lasik eval where on earth ever you live. they are usually free. if you go some where on earth that you have to recompense just to be evaluated, they probably want you for your money.. my boss have done over 30,000 eyes!!
