Diagnose my symptoms?
Question:
I really hope I don't have pink eye. Do you guys have any home remedies for my symptoms?
Answers:
Your information is incomplete and inadequate which makes diagnosing you impossible. Also, it's not appropriate to ask a bunch of unqualified people to give you a medical diagnosis.
Go to the doctor.
Do NOT use any remedies given you here by any foolish people, since you won't have a valid diagnosis.
yes go see your doctor
If you had pinkeye your eye would be itchy and in that case the best thing you can do is SLEEP IT OFF. You might wanna go to the doctor and see if there's something they can give you for it. But if you really don't think it's that, then you might actually have a stye in your eye. Never heard of a stye? Well it's just like, a little bump on your eye that does go away eventually, but in the meantime it's just really irritating. Don't rub your eyes, it will go away. In the meantime, again, sleeping is the best thing for an irritated eyeball.
If you have pink eye then your eyes will have mucus around your eyelids when you wake up, and you will continue producing smaller bits of mucus continually during the day. The underside of your eyelids will also look red and irritated.
If that's the case then you will do well to see a doctor and he will prescribe some antibiotic cream that will clear it right up.
Pink eye (conjuctivitis) comes up quickly, within a day. Other things may take longers. For instance, another possibility may be simply dry irritated eyes, but that comes up slowly over time and is not associated with mucus.
I would say that you have an eye-infection. Sounds more like Blepharitis, the symptoms of that are
-Burning, itching, or a feeling of having something in the eye.
-Crust on the eyelids that makes them stick together in the morning. Red and sore eyelid edges.
-Eyelash loss.
-Sometimes lice that can be seen in the lashes.
If you think you have an eye infection, see your doctor. He or she will ask you to describe your symptoms. Your doctor will check your eye to rule out serious eye diseases, then pinpoint the type of infection before coming up with a treatment plan.
Remember, don't procrastinate a problem like this, it wont get better over-time. GO to the doctor!!
Wash your eyes out with warm salt water two or three times a day!
