I did have deep vein thrombosis in both legs 2moths ego.Still have pain and numbness.im with warfarin 4mg?

INR is 2.3 today. Has anyone still have bad syntoms after some many weeks?

Answers:
Unfortunately, being on warfarin doesn't always dissolve the DVTs. It DOES prevent new clot formation.

I've seen patients recanalize (partially open) their DVTs months later.

Ask your doctor about when you can start wearing some type of compression hose. They'll help prevent problems down the line.
