Lactose intolerance?
Question:
Answers:
My son, my mother, my daughter-in-law, and my grandson are LI and, each of their bodies responded slightly different.
According to NIDDK: "Symptoms begin about 30 minutes to 2 hours after eating or drinking foods containing lactose."
My 3 year old grandson is doing awesome now and can eat diary with no problems. He chews two (2) one-a-day tablets of Digestive Advantage, every morning and his constipation and stomach pain is gone. We also heard of a 38-day program (www.dairyfreedom.com) but we picked the 1-a-day program (Digestive Advantage is sold on line and in drug stores and super-centers).
I hope you can do one of the above programs so you'll be able to keep drinking/eating dairy --- your body really needs it! Hope this helps!
Hi
I have two daughters one who is allergic to lactose and one allergic to wheat...makes life very interesting but what i have found is that everyones intolerance is different.
My eldest who is allergic to milk has an instant reaction where in minutes she would throw up.
My youngest who is allergic to wheat has a very severe reaction but it usually takes a good 30mins or so to kick in. It also depends on the amount she eats.
Myself if i eat too much dairy then it takes around 3hours before i am racing to the toilet or just have stomach pains.
Hope this helps!
Peace and Love
Why don't you get lactose free milk from a major supermarket such as Coles or Woolworths?
Insead of dairy products you could also switch to soy milk.
