What are the physical demands of a Massage Therapist?

Question:
Do their hands ever hurt or get cramps?

Answers:
During the course of their education, MTs learn how to use proper ergonomics...how to stand and postion themselves and the patient. They also learn how to use their hands in a position that minimizes stress. Proper ergonomics can reduce the risk of these symptoms. Yet, despite these precautions, I'm sure repetition eventually takes over and can lead to soreness or cramping on a really busy day. I know it can for me!
Their hands don't hurt too much to put those dollars in their pockets. Ever have to get regular treatmets?....LATER
