Anxiety Screening?

Question: I am going to the doctor and am going to ask him to test me for anxiety disorder. Has anyone been thru this? What kind of tests or questions do they ask?

Answers:
They should ask mostly about how you feel, but it's really up to you to talk to your doctor about all your symptons so she can ask better questions and make a more accurate diagnosis.

1. Does your mind race?
2. Do you worry about everything? Always thinking "what if"?
3. Do you have trouble sleeping because your mind is thinking of a zillion things at once?
4. Do you feel "nervous" inside?

He will probably give you an antidepressant. They are really good for anxiety.
