Popping lights, blurred vision..whats wrong?

Question:

hello everyone, i all of a sudden am seeing popping lights in my left eye and my vision is becoming blurred. i don't know what it is. im thinking it may be connected to my numourous headaches this week...or perhaps these insect bites i have all over my feet...i thought it was just a mosquito bite but the more i scratch trhe more it spreads...they're getting massive..im wearing glasses...anyone know whats wrong?

Go see an opthamologist right away. Are you diabetic? This can be a sign of problems with your retina. This can be nothing or you can loose your sight. Don't take it as a joke go see somebody ASAP. and get some bug spay with deet. Have you heard of West Nile Virus-very rare but who knows?

Sounds like you need to start making funeral arrangements.

Flashes of light (like a light show) in your eyes can be serious. Go to an eye doctor as soon as possible. I am no doctor but I don't see how the insect bites could be related to the eye problem.

I am not sure but I would go to the ER. You could have torn your retina but with the bites too I do not have a clue. Go tonight and see what is wrong. Good luck.

The popping lights could be a migraine with aura (a special type of headache, often related to hormones), but it's happening along with the massive, spreading bug bite reaction. That's scary.

I think you should go to the ER.
