Can I cut pills in half that aren't scored?


Question:
Okay. If you're prescription medication isn't scored does that mean the drugs aren't equally distributed within the pill? Therefore you can't cut them in half and be sure you're getting the proper amounts of chemicals? Is this true or is it a myth?

Answers:
Some pills are sustained or timed release pills. They contain more quantity with the idea that layer by layer it will be dissolved so it needs to be taken not so frequently. If you divide such pill, it may be harmful.
Yes go to your local pharmacy and ask for a pill cuter have them.
