Hiya what's the best way to treat a cold? i'm asthmatic too? x?

Question:
am aching all over and feel horrible and tired x

Answers:
I find Alkaseltzer Plus Cold Medicine in a gel cap works wonderful. If that isn't going to give you problems with your asthma, I highly recommend it. It gets me through bronchitis as well (doesn't cure it,just makes it liveable).

The Selzer works faster, but the salt may cause a flareup with your asthma, which is why I didn't suggest that version.
fresh oranges not orange juice - but FRESH oranges
Hey, you know what they say?/ treat a cold and it lasts 7 days. don't treat a cold and it lasts a week!

Just comfort yourself - paracetamol for the head, and general aches, lemon and hot water for everything else.

Hope you feel better soon!
Loadsa hot liquids, vitamin C & rest
its a virus so u have to wait

you can help the symptoms though

i use tylanol cold
As soon as you feel the first sign of a cold, take 1 raw clove of garlic, cut up in chunks so you can swallow it. Continue for three days, taking two a day, It should kill any infection and absorb the poisons from your body.
Pills & powders are not always the best option, colds will run their course what ever you throw at them. The best remedy for the aches and pains is a hot bath
you can't get rid of colds =)
you'll just have to live with it i'm afraid =(
There are no treatments for colds, only symptom managements. Paracetamol, perhaps with a decongestant. If you cold triggers your asthma and your preset treatment plan does not cover the problem, you need to check with your GP.
