Why do i feel so compedtive around others when they work out?

Question:
when i se some one working out it makes me whant to work out same times i do but most the time when im alone i dont.

Answers:
Is it that they are lifting more or doing more then you. You dont want to come across as being weak. and that you are capable of a BIG workout.

Your best bet is to maybe do this,,, write out a workout and keep track of what you are doint, "this can be used as a crutch" so it appears that you are coming across organied and following a routine.
--even if it is :just notes on a clipboard" It may help lessen the stress of competing"You can just say it is a workout that your Trainer gave you...

That is the quickest way to injure yourself. GUYS, its OK to not compete all the time. and just think where you will be if you get injured...
SO WHAT IF HE LIFTS MORE THEN YOU? OR HAS JOGGED 20 MIN AND YOU CAN ONLY DO 10...

Try and use some common sense and do what YOU CAN, not what you want to appear you can do.
your a normal man.. its kinda like a reproductive thing to be faster better than the other guy to get the best mate.
I feel the same too , but I find that when I'm on my own and try to not bother about others , I find myself pacing myself and getting my best results.
