I think i have a tyroid problem?

Question:
i am going to the doctors soon but how would it be cured and will i need a blood test?

Answers:
Thyroid problems can be caused by an iodine deficiency.
It depends what kind of thyroid problem it is. And how bad it is.

My nan was put on.something.. for it.
Which hasn't worked - so she is going for an operation to remove it i think.

And i know of someone else who is completely cured from the thyroid problem by taking medication.

Just... don't worry see what the doctor says.
You will need a blood test, to determine if your thyroid is under, or over active, as the treatment is very different. It may be as simple as taking medication (for the rest of your life), or you may require surgery. It's no big deal, so dont worry.
