Why dont our eyelashes grow?
Question:
Answers:
They do grow and are continually being pushed out of your body, just like any other living hair.
It's just the way they are made...
They do grow, and quite quickly, though the turn over is also quick. This is to not get in the way of vision. Imagine tucking your eyelashes behind your ears--lol!
They do grow. I had an accident and burned off my eyelashes and eyebrows. And they grew back. But to the same length that they were originally. Which is strange. I'd like to hear a good explanation as well. Did you burn your eyelashes off too?
they do otherwise you'd have bald eyelids by now.. one falls out, another grows in its place.. But you probably mean why dont eyelashes grow in length?.. Just an aspect of our human bodies that is preset.. .. they grow to a certain length and stop.. I mean.. you could ask that of any part of our body, why dont our eyeballs continue to grow.. by the time we are adults, we would have basketballs for eyes, or why doesnt our feet continue to grow. we'd have clown boats for feet.. etc etc.. the list could go on..
