Can somebody please tell me how to find alcohol rehabs in Bensalem, Pennsylvania?

Question:
I have always held on to my principle not to have any vices. I stayed away from my friends when I learned that they were doing drugs. I did not hang out at bars or any alcoholics. I held on to my principle. That is, until a few months ago. A few months ago when my son died and I could no longer handle the pain. That's when I started drinking like alcohol was water and I'd be dead without it. I want to get myself treated now, but how? Please help.

Answers:
Oh, I'm really sorry about your son. I know that must have been very hard for you to deal with. I could understand why you just turned to alcohol. I'm glad, though, that you have decided to get your old self back. Alcohol may give you temporary euphoria, but that wouldn't compensate for what it takes away from you. I'm glad that you're on your way to getting yourself treated now. A good way for you to find alcohol rehabs is to get recommendations from doctors or healthcare providers. You can also check out the links that I have included below as these may help you in your search. Good luck! Get well soon!
OH hon, I am sorry for your loss and your pain. Thank GOD you see your self in trouble and you are asking for help.

GOOD FOR YOU!

I think your best bet would be to contact your physician. and have a long talk with her/him and I can almost guarantee that they would be more then willing to find you the correct help you need.

I called a freind that lives close by: she isnt even sure if it exists, but was able to give me a few numbers..

I a so sorry about your son. I,m sure with all the pain you are now having, he would want you to take care of yourself. It seems as if you have made that decision.

Call AA (Alcoholics Anonymous)...millions of people have gotten help & sobriety with their help...

Call your local mental health clinic...they can help & point you in the right direction...

Good luck & may God bless you...Nala

PS I believe that when a person dies he is freed from his body but still lives in his spiritual body which we are unable to see. I know that based on personal experiences I have had.
You however are devastated because he is gone, but he would be very glad you are seeking help w/ your alcohol problem.
