Do microwaves posses any harmful radiation thats harmful to humans in the use of everyday life?

I kind of see two questions here. One having to do with the safety of the heated food. The other having to do with radiation.

Answer: Cooking foods in a microwave oven does not alter them other than to heat them. There are no known effects on humans from microwaved food as opposed to foods heated by other means."

They have been linked to cancer, but you don't have to worry about that if you do not stand in front of the microwave while it is on.
